Adventures at Pewit’s Nest – Baraboo, WI

Last week we decided to take a trip up to Baraboo, WI to visit Pewit’s Nest. A little gem of a place here in South-Central Wisconsin, tucked nicely behind the local Wal-Mart.

I guess what I’m saying is, you wouldn’t expect to see something like this around these parts of town. This little wonder has gorgeous hiking trails that wrap around a 30-40 feet deep gorge, which is complete with caverns and mini waterfalls. 

Henry tagged along for the day, of course. He loves hiking, which I know is pretty weird since he’s so little! You wouldn’t think he’d be adventurous in the slightest. But he always seems up for a bit of a challenge. This time he even went in the water himself!
